How to properly store a CD/DVD
A type of damage to a CD/DVD that most people don't think about is storage. If a DVD or CD is stored incorrectly it can become damaged and hard to read. The best way to store a CD/DVD is vertically, or standing up. When a DVD or CD is stored horizontally or on its side it can warp over time. When this happens it becomes hard for the player to read the CD/DVD. The best place to store a CD/DVD is in a tower, or in a bookcase. Also keep in mind that the area cannot be to hot or that will also cause the CD/DVD to warp.
So Store your CD/DVD in a dry warm(room temperature) area and you will have years and years of enjoyment out them.
